C-ramic's on-going development program has perfected a technique to place a relatively hard C-Ramic coating on a soft metal, without destroying the properties of the base material.

The primary advantage of a very low temperature thermochemically bonded coating is the ability to apply it to substrates such as Aluminium and Titanium.

It is now possible that components can be manufactured from a light material and have the surface hardness of a ceramic to protect the surfaces from wear and corrosion.

  • Hardness 1800 Vickers
  • Low Temperature application
  • High Bond Strength
  • Low Friction
  • Non-stick
  • Non-conductive

  • Pulley's - for Wire drawing
  • Rollers - for Optical Fibres
  • Side plates - for Non-stick glue applications
  • Tubes - for Corrosion situations
  • Sheaves - for Optical Fibres
